The weekend of June 19 to June 21, 2003 in Austin, Texas became the first official 'Steele Family Reunion' when members of the Steele Chat Crew took over the City of Austin. What started off as a little chat between a few members about going to Austin to see a play turned into almost the entire group of regular chatters making the journey. With Jos traveling all the way from New Zealand the event was raised to international status. Of course I had no idea Jos was going to be in town. And that wasn't the only surprise in store for me. There were many highlights of the weekend but the real highlight was the special performance put on for me, my boyfriend, my mother and the rest of the chat crew by the newly formed Steele Men's Chorus. OK there's really no official name for them and they only had a few minutes to rehearse and put on their tuxedo's provided by Hal's Tuxedo of Bug Sur but believe it or not Phil, Jos, Hal, FrankLee, Gerard and Richard sang an acapela version of Mr. Wonderful for all of us and let me tell you it was wonderful, and special, and yes it left me speechless. I titled this months newsletter with the heading Mars because thank the stars, not the Dallas Stars, just the ones above, Mars is moving in for a 6 month stay! If you read horoscopes at all you'll know what I'm talking about. If not, enjoy the rush from June 16 to December 16 because Mars won't be back in the sky until June of 2005 and then it will only stay 6 weeks. Mars with Uranus? A Spiritual Experience

I decided that this months newsletter would be different from anything I have ever posted before. Those of you who read my forum may remember me talking to someone about how to develop your self esteem. My solution is to make a list of all the things in your life that you love, enjoy and consider a favorite thing and of each and every thing ask yourself this question, "Is this my choice because this is something I truly do love and enjoy and consider my favorite or did I make this choice because someone thought I should or someone I admired made this choice so I took their opinion from them?" And when you get all that done you discover that many of your choices in life are based on other people and when you do that you cheat yourself and don't have healthy self esteem. Every self help book I've read over the years always says the symptoms of low self esteem but none I've read ever give a solution. For me this was a solution. But to understand why this is a solution you have to know about my spiritual experience, what happened and why I made such a deep inventory of simple ideas. I have been corresponding with the guy who originally posted that question and is who I gave the response in my forum. He recently asked me what it was that changed my life so I shared it with him in an email. And the rest of my newsletter is that experience. I hope some of you discover a bit more about me from reading it but ultimately I hope you discover a bit more about yourself.

Mardi Gras Madness and the Tall Blond Mystery Man…

It’s been an eventful month for me. On the travel front I went to New Orleans on March 1, 2003 to host Bal Masque XX for the Lords of Leather Mardi Gras crew. It was my first time in years to be in New Orleans in the French Quarter and not having to get up on the bar and go go dance at The Bourbon Pub. It was a refreshing experience. I’ll go into more on that later on in the newsletter and tell you all about the event I hosted along with Will Clark for an auditorium full of over 1500 guests. Going on Vacation!!!

I took off running into 2002 with a one-week vacation in Calgary-Banff, Alberta, Canada. I hit the slopes and got to meet some hot Canadian boys at Goliath Sauna on 17th Street in Calgary. Happy Holidays

Yes the Holidays have been happy so far and they’re not even here yet! I'm in the new issue of [M]2 magazine in a layout with the very handsome and extremely hot Andel. He's beautiful. In the November 2001 Issue they repented with a nice review of Steele Pole the movie I filmed in Poland last summer. And in the December 2001 Issue they printed several letters from members of my site! Steele Pole has been getting really good reviews and I’m glad because I was real worried that people would not like it because the lighting is very dark when compared to the usual porn of the US. July 4th 2001 marked my one year anniversary of being associated and represented by my agent David Forest. I stayed at the Allison Hotel on Stockton just around the corner from the theater. The 127th Kentucky Derby Weekend

This past month I started out in Louisville, Kentucky for the 127th Kentucky Derby. I didn’t make it out to the track, but I had a great time with the guys from The Connection in Louisville and Nashville. Let me tell you, these guys in Louisville have class, they need to come to Dallas and teach the bar owners and the staff at Club Dallas a lesson in how to treat people nice. The owners of The Connection, George & Eddie, treated us like royalty, made dinner for us at their home, took us to parties, took us out for brunch and even loaned us their Jaguar for the trip down to Nashville. Nothing but the best. And yes Laird, our guide and chaperone, was a blast too. (Thanks for taking me to the bookstore Laird! Dragon will KILL you! PS did you get the ‘Tina Doubt’ shirt?) The next weekend Miss Chi Chi La Rue paid Dallas a visit: I’ll tell you more about that later on in my newsletter. Shock, Alternatives, Nashville & Bent

It's been a wild month full of diversity, hot sex and fun. Since the last newsletter I've done some traveling, appeared in my first Falcon video, made my first Dallas appearance, returned to the theatre for the first time since 1989 and performed at the largest gay club in the USA. The most interesting week happened for me the 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th of February this year. On Thursday the 22nd my hot friend Dane came over for a memorable show on the webcam. Looking back at some of the penetration shots you guys got quite a show. Then on Friday the 23rd I was about to go to the gym when John Templin at Sage & Silo Theatre in Ft. Then to top off the weekend I flew to Nashville, Tennessee to appear at The Connection, the largest gay club in the USA.

The next millennium quickly arrives...

Polish Steele Arrives

As I sit down to write a new newsletter I have to think back over the events of the last month and try to highlight each of the important things that have happened for me. This past October I would say the most memorable event was my receiving the Master Tape for the video Polish Steele that I shot in Poland this summer. THE SUMMER

The Summer of 2000 is officially over and all I can say is WOW! I really put on some miles this year. When you're traveling around and the time is upon you it doesn't dawn on you how far the journey has taken you till reach a point and stop to look back. As I look back over the Summer of 2000 I am amazed at myself and all the places I visited. From Palm Springs to Prague it's been a summer of travel and experience. Since my last newsletter I have been to New Orleans for Southern Decadence, to Tampa, Greensboro North Carolina, Chicago and San Francisco. And least I forget Tulsa Oklahoma in between it all. This weekend I'm heading down to Austin, Texas to some of my favorite places to work. If you were at Decadence this year and you had a camera chances are you got some photos of me dancing naked on the bar upstairs at The Parade Disco in my usual corner. DAYS OF DECADENCE

I titled the newsletter Days of Decadence because I'm currently packing my bags to head off to New Orleans for a week to perform at Southern Decadence and because I've been to so many different places since the last newsletter. When I wrote the last newsletter I had just returned from Europe where I filmed and directed my first porno movie. I also star in the feature that has 5 scenes with some hot Polish boys from Warsaw and me, The American Porn Star. I actually deliver my lines in Polish in the movie. I have yet to see a final copy of the movie but I understand it will be shipped to me very soon. CHRIS STEELE on SOUTH PARK! When I got the News Release yesterday from Butch at ManNet I was thrilled to find out that my video STEELE RANGER will be used in an up coming episode of South Park. The scene is going to be when Sadam uses a gay porn video to seduce Satan and the video he's going to use is STEELE RANGER. Too cool huh? I hope they animate at least one scene from the video and show me in the park ranger uniform, then I'll be immortalized forever in a cartoon. Some of my friends are already writing to the guys at South Park to request an entire episode where Ranger Chris takes the boys on a tour of West Hollywood, the gay porn capital of the world.

Travel

"Gee, I wish I could travel more." I must have said that some day about a week before writing the last newsletter because all I've done since February is travel, travel, travel. No complaints from me about it, I've been living the jet set life for the last three months. I've seen many airports and the inside of many jets in a short time. That's why the recent 'joke-o-the-internet' really had me laughing when I checked my e-mail last week. One of my friends sent me the recordings of people being paged at London's Heathrow Airport. If you didn't get that one just try announcing these names over the loud speaker in your office or warehouse - "Aynayda Pizaqvick and Malexa Kriest" or "Arheddis Varkenjaab and Aywellbe Fayed".. Say that out loud and see what words are really coming out of your mouth. It reminds me of Porky's and the girl looking for "Mike Hunt."

Moving Right Along….

Things keep moving right along. When I did the first newsletter there were still videos I had completed that have not reached the market. Last night I stopped by a local video store and I saw that they now have it all; Uncle Jack, Cadet, Night Riders, Czech Point, Trust Me and Steele Ranger. Chris Steele was all over the shelf. I hope everyone likes the video work I have done so far. Personally my favorite movie is Steele Ranger followed by Trust Me and Uncle Jack tied for a close second. My favorite sex scene to watch with me in it is from Czech Point where I was with Pavel Novotny, what a fucking hot boy I wish they were all as hot! Then there have been some magazines show up as well. I've seen reviews of Trust Me and Czech Point in most of the regular magazines like Unzipped, Honcho, Torso and Manshots. Still I haven't seen a review of Steele Ranger other than the one I posted here in the forum section that was written by Max Southern for ManNet.com. Max certainly loved the video and I apparently left an impression on him as well. That's a good thing since Max is one of the judges for the 2000 GayVN Awards.
